« This was the perfect place to stay! Conveniently located and easy to find near the Blue Ridge Parkway and Wild Acres Retreat. The setting was beautiful, the bed super comfy and had all the comforts of home! I had a weeklong retreat at Wild Acres and didn't want to stay in the dorm-like lodges there. « We had so so much fun during our visit! The location is so beautiful, we were so fortunate to see the peak of fall colors and it was breathtaking. We saw the sunrise over the mountains right from our cabin and we had a clear view of the sky for nighttime sky gazing too, the stars are so much brighter! The actual drive to the house was super manageable, didn’t need 4WD so long as you don’t try to drive up the gravel driveway, which Michelle advises against anyway. « 10/10 WILL BE BOOKING AGAIN! Perfect adorable cabin wonderfully secluded for our 2nd honeymoon! Pictures really don't do it justice. The driveway is not super steep (like other places in the mountains). The cabin feels like it's been there for 75 years and sits in the environment naturally. Hot tub was a delight, lots of room and the views were unparalleled. I really want to come back in the fall or winter to snuggle in frot of the wood stoves! Thank you so much! »

« This is a very cozy and comfortable home. The kitchen was well stocked. The beds are comfortable. The view from the porch is beautiful and the walk to the steam is very nice. We brought our dog and he loves it too. Gloria is super and she puts a lot of love into her home and garden. We'll definitely return. »
